Video Conversion Services
We use the latest technology to give you a professionally converted, undistorted copy of your original tape. We digitally CONVERT your tape to and from any video system. All tapes are converted in total privacy for your peace of mind. We return all the original media (tapes, CD's, etc..) back to you at no charge. Conversion rates for various media are shown below.

Color Systems we can convert are PAL <-> NTSC <-> SECAM. Basically we convert tapes from any system to any system!
 
 
Follow these 3 Easy steps to have your movie converted:
1) Keep in mind that NTSC is the format used in the USA and PAL is the format used in Europe, Asia, Africa, etc... Conversions rates are based on the video type. We also give you a Free Deluxe DVD case when you get your movie converted to DVD! Holds your new DVD disc and has inserts for custom pictures and text.

Order form and other details:

  • Please fill in and send your tapes with our Order form.
  • If possible, please send a USPS Money order (money order from the United States Postal Service) to expedite your order.
  • There is an extra 10% discount on your order if you send in 3 or more tapes for conversion. Larger volume discounts available.
  • We charge by the tape not by the hour.
  • Please specify the recording speed (SP or EP) that we should use when making your copy. We suggest Standard Play (SP) for the best picture and sound.
  • All prices are good for tapes 2 hours or less. Each additional hour recorded on a VHS tapes costs $3 per hour up to 6 total hours. Any tape longer than 2 hours will be recorded in EP mode.
  • All return shipments are insured for $99 unless you pay for more.
  • In total, we require 7-10 working days to convert your tapes and get them back to you.
  • Return shipping is a flat rate $6.50 for any number of tapes shipped within the 48 Continental United States.
  • We ship by UPS so please send a return street address. PO Box/APO/FPO and international destinations cost extra.
  • If possible, please send a USPS Money order (money order from the United States Postal Service) to expedite your order.

Mail your tape (s) with an explanation of what type of conversion is required. Specify the type of tape (VHS, S-VHS, DVD, mini-DV) and color system (Pal for overseas and NTSC for USA) you want your original transferred to. Remember to send a check/MO payable to World-Import.com with your order:

*A total of 90 minutes can be recorded on one mini-DV tape in LP mode at no extra charge. 60 minutes can be recorded on SP mode. Specify the speed you want your recording on.

*DVD copies are only recorded with 2 channel sound. Only the movie portion of your original DVD is recorded. Your DVD player must be able to play finalized DVD-R discs.
