The Full HD 1080p Sharp BD-HP70 Aquos Blu-ray Disc Player packs a lot of features into a compact unit that's less than three inches tall. It's compatible with the BD Live Profile 2.0 standard, which means you can connect to the Internet via your home network and have access to a wealth of extra features that an increasing number of Blu-ray discs contain—commentaries, coming attractions and more, and they can even appear in a picture-in-picture box right on your TV screen. (You'll also need a USB flash drive with at least 1 GB of free space for temporary storage when you're online.) Don't worry about using your USB slot. This player has two. In the other slot you can plug in the wireless Wi-Fi transceiver that's included. Or if you'd prefer to go wired you can use the RJ-45 jack to connect to your broadband modem or router.
